Heaven and Hell - Pastor David Gomez (Luke 16:19-31)
Jesus teaches here that heaven and hell are both very real. Some religions and even Christian churches don’t believe in Hell. Some believe that everyone goes to heaven. The Truth is the very second you die your soul either goes to Heaven or Hell. It is proven by Jesus when he was hanging on the cross he told one of the criminals who was hanging by his side this:  Luke 23:43 “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Most preachers today will not preach about hell because it is not the most popular thing to do.           Prosperity Preaching and make me feel gospel is the thing to do. We often like to tell people come to church cause God wants to bless you. Of coarse he wants to bless but most important He Wants To Save!!

The rich man had no sympathy for Lazarus, showing him no love, or compassion whatsoever.
(Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?) The point is lets not shy about telling people and warning them about the reality of Heaven and consequences of Hell. Jesus didn't shy from speaking about it and neither should you. What do you do when Life hits you hard and you have all this problems? You've been coming to church reading, studying, getting the word but you’ll never know how much greatness you have inside until your faced with that opportunity to Shine. Just Like In School you learn, read, study, and are being taught but then the TEST comes and that’s how you really know how much you've learned. You can't have a Testimony in your life without going through something, a Test. But we must remember If God Has brought You Out he will do it Again! God didn't bring you this far to leave you in the Dirt!

People always think that if they had more in life that they would be happy. Money, cars, houses, things, worldly possessions will not make you Happy in Life. The More you have the more responsibility and stress you’ll have in Life. So if you can’t handle it now you won’t be able to handle it then. The key to Living a Happy Life is in verse 15:  Having a heart of Thanksgiving!  Yes Being thankful for the little things in Life.
You want to have more in Life, 1st be thankful for what you got! I once heard a man say I was in the military and I survived the war because of other soldiers giving their life to save me. So im going to appreciate this gift they gave me and make the best of life and not sit and waste it and complain. Because they paid the Price. Jesus did the same thing for you. He Paid the Ultimate Price He died for You and gave you the gift of a second chance in life.
