Tired Of Waiting - Pastor David Gomez
In life we get tired and we don't like to waiting. We get frustrated waiting on fast food. We get Mad Waiting in line at a store or behind the slow car in traffic. You might get Tired of Waiting on that promotion. Tired of waiting for Mr or Mrs Right. Maybe you been waiting for God to heal your sickness. Or maybe you been praying and waiting for a loved one to straighten up. To shape up!
Abraham and his wife Sarah– had to wait a long time before they had a child Abraham was 100 yrs old and Sarah was 90.
Moses – was gone and waited 40yrs before God sent him back to rescue his people the Israelites.
The Israelites - wondered in the Desert 40 more years before they entered the Promise Land!,
Joseph – was a teen when God gave him a dream. He was 30yrs old when it came to Pass!
Daniel – Had to spend a whole night in the lions den. That might not seem like a long time but just 30 seconds face to face with hungry Lions can seem like an Eternity.
While most of us are in a hurry, it seems God is usually not in a hurry. While you are trying to play Checkers in Life, God is playing Chest! God is saying, I'm not preparing the blessing for you, - I'm preparing you for the Blessing! While we are waiting God is building our Character, our leadership skills, our faith, our strength, and our wisdom to be able to handle the Blessings.
